What colors should I use for my bedroom? (teenage girl)?

I was thinking black, white, and light green. I was also thinking maybe peach or baby blue would look better with black and white. What do you guys think? Any pictures or tips on how to do it? Thanks!What colors should I use for my bedroom? (teenage girl)?
I like the green or blue idea with the black and white best. Paint your walls a shade of either, buy a black and white comforter and add accent pillows, art, candles, flowers, etc. in your accent color.

Use the colors that make you feel happy. If you go with the black and white, don't use more than one wall in black. It will make the room seem smaller and like it is closing in on you. Or paint the walls all white and the furniture black with your accent color. Red is a good accent color with black and white and it's easy to find accessories. The light green, peach or baby blue would not make the room pop. It would drag it down to ';puff';. You need a bright, strong color to balance out the black. If you want the green, do it in a bright, neon green.





Sometimes in a bedroom I start with the bed covering for inspiration. Find one that you really like and take the colors from that. My bedroom now is peach and light green because my quilt/bedspread is is those colors (and others). The walls are peach with a faux finish in one shade darker and one shade lighter. My furniture I painted light green.
because you a teenage girl, i would use bright colours. dark colours is just sooo depressing, and make your room smaller and darker. you won't even fell the sunshine in that room. with black it will be just dark as a cave. if you like dark, then use different kind of brown, and cream colours, or if it is too serious for you, then use brown and pumpkin orange colour, they look great together and they are funky.

Do you have a favorite item from your room? If so pull the colors from that item and go with it. Otherwise go shopping and find some accessories that you absolutely love and choose a color opposite of it for the walls. To help go to the web and search color wheel it will help you make a good choice and learn how to match colors
My daughters is lime green, electric blue and purple. I really like the brown %26amp; light blue that is popular right now. A friend of hers has peach %26amp; brown, it's pretty but they had a hard time finding things to match. Another friend of hers has aqua blue %26amp; pink. There should be websites that you can look at that has teenagers bedroom ideas.Good luck picking colors and have fun.
That is so weird I was gonna do black white and green but then i thought tan and light pink and white would be cool too. Try looking on jcpenny seventeen, its really cute then u could use the colors, just a few shades llighter for your walls. Hope I helped!!!
Hmm, well i guess its just what you like, my room, has a chair railing around it so theres 2 colors, on the bottom a dark purple and then a lighter purple on the top, go for something that you love :D
